I was rather sad to learn of the passing of MG Rover in High Wycombe last week, where I bought my current car two years ago. Car dealerships are one of the little curiousities I find most interesting in the world of motoring – their design, architecture, displays, colours, branding, history and so on. SMC’s London Road garage was one of the fast diminishing number that actually had a bit of character.
